Favorite hobby:
It is difficult to choose just one, but my top two are learning everything about history and following Detroit sports.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up, I always wanted to be in a role that was on the business side of manufacturing. I had family members that worked in manufacturing growing up that first got me interested.
What originally drew you to work for G.A. Richards?
I was hired as a Human Resources Intern in 2021 and enjoyed how hands-on I got to be in the operations of the HR department and engaging with the employees.
What do you enjoy most about working here?
I enjoy being able to engage with every employee here and being able to make a meaningful impact on the company.
What does your day-to-day look like?
As a human resources manager, I oversee all human resource tasks including recruiting, payroll, employee relations, and benefits.
What is the most valuable lesson you’ve learned since working with G.A. Richards?
My most valuable lesson is learning how much of an impact someone can make in a single interaction.
How would you measure excellence at G.A. Richards?
Striving to achieve the company values daily and trying to find something you did each day that shows you performed one of the values. Do the best you can and you will find yourself achieving at least one.
If you could change one thing about working at G.A. Richards, what would it be and why?
I enjoy many aspects of working here, but if I could change one thing I wish I could take more time to travel to all of our locations to engage with employees there.
